Abstract

In the modern educational standard, one of the leading goals of teaching a foreign language is the formation of foreign language communicative competence. In this article, the author focuses on the problem of the formation of an effective phonetic linguistic component of foreign language communicative competence in Russian preschoolers and schoolchildren. This article describes the features of the formation of foreign language communicative competence in Russian preschoolers and schoolchildren, examines the structure of lessons and techniques for the formation of phonetic skills in preschoolers and schoolchildren in Russia, and analyzes English lessons using the example of students in the English language club in Perm. An exploratory experimental study is also being conducted in the form of a survey of Russian preschoolers and schoolchildren in the Englishwoman language club of Perm to identify their level of phonetic linguistic component of foreign language communicative competence. As a result of the study, it is concluded that it is necessary to involve native speakers as teachers in teaching a foreign language to Russian preschoolers and schoolchildren in order to form a more effective foreign language communicative competence. Students studying with a native speaker showed the result in the form of 1-2 errors in the pronunciation of words from the questionnaire. In turn, students studying with a Russian English teacher made two or more mistakes in the pronunciation of words.
