Abstract

Social values are the basic culture of any society, and language is the carrier of social values. As a carrier of Chinese culture and civilization, the Chinese Chengyu peculiarly preserves the social values that have been formed in China for thousands of years. Diligence, as a spiritual quality of a human being, is one of the important values of Chinese society. The value of DILIGENCE is analyzed on the material of Chinese chengyu, considered as phraseologically related, stable lexical and syntactic units of the modern Chinese language, which in a concise honed form of four-syllabic (mostly) rhythmic phrases and sentences saturated with archaisms, vividly, vividly and expressively reflect various concepts of the real reality of the Chinese ethnic group, Studying Chinese chengyu with the meaning of diligence can help We intuitively understand the value preferences that have been formed in Chinese society for thousands of years.
