Abstract

This article focuses on one of the most fundamental problems of epistemology — the problem of categories. The hermeneutical tools used in the article are approaches of K. Jaspers, E. Cassirer and G. Deleuze. 1) Jaspers came from the impossibility of the categorical characteristics of existence, though he used the category system for the negative definition of existence which basis is a “present moment”. 2) Cassirer occupies the intermediate position between the Neo-Kantianism and phenomenology and proceeds from the total condition of temporal abstraction — “point of the now”. 3) Deleuze also hold the critical approach to the thought, he replaced the identity by the difference and translated the categorical markers to the elements of language.
