Abstract

This article examines stages of institutialisation, forms and types of intersectoral collaboration in Western European countries. The purpose of collaboration and the level of partners’ homogeneity were revealed as the key characteristics of intersectoral collaboration. Based on these criteria the article distinguishes between different models of intersectoral collaboration. Analysis of the legal norms and regulations at the international and national levels contributes to the dissemination practices in intersectoral collaboration.
