Correspondence of Relevance Systems in the Communicative Space of Military Service Culture

Abstract

The article considers the problem of establishing relevance systems in the communicative space of military service culture. The rationale for such a concept as honor, which is relevant to dignity, is given. At the same time, high personal military culture determines the authority of a military specialist, prompting those around him to value him highly and reckon with his opinion. The warrior's personal values formed on this basis have a social and public character, as they manifest themselves in interaction and communication with other people. The paper focuses on the fact that values are individual, as they arise in the process of internal work of the subject, creating its own system of relevance. In it finds a manifestation of both life experience and specific character traits. In the research it is specified, that an establishment of conformity of systems of relevance is directed also on search of ways of increase of fighting efficiency of army, thus the system of relevance is original scale of the estimative markers allowing to separate the lie from the truth, good from harm, legal from illegal for a serviceman. The work establishes that while taking responsible decisions a serviceman acts in accordance with those individual values that were formed in his process of military inculturation. The systems of relevancies in the communicative space of the military service influence the individual's world-view position, have a consolidating function because they unite the national and historical values and expectations of the representatives of different social strata. Thanks to these systems, a natural attitude is formed in the military environment, proclaiming the revival of the military community's traditions, once lost or abandoned, which reinforces in the minds of servicemen the idea of the special importance of military work.
