Abstract

The article represents the analysis of the crisis of European morals and ideology by Robert Musil in his essays in 1920s. Special attention is given to the ideologemes of nation, race and state. The article analyses the notions of morals and ideology. It represents «the theorem of human shapelessness», which is the main theoretical premise of Musil’s analysis of culture. Key words: cultural crisis, ideology, morals, Musil, nationalism, ethics.
