Abstract

The article, based on the material of modern stand-up comedy, analyzes the problem of ethical assessment of a comic statement. The comic is seen as a play on the opposition between norm and anomaly. The concept of satire is considered and the category “satirical issues” is introduced. It is understood as an ideological construct that allows objects to be represented as anomalies. The problems of E. Chebatkov’s stand-up concert are associated with the perception of the simulation, self-parody side of social reality; comedian A. Airapetov, on the contrary, presents a new form of confession in comic communication. Reconstruction of satirical issues allows us to see in a set of comic objects the author's aesthetic strategy, which is taken into account by the audience when assessing a joke as appropriate or inappropriate.
