VOCABULARY OF THE CONCEPTUAL SPHERE «NATURE» AND FOOD NOMINATIONS IN RUSSIAN DIALECTS OF THE PERM REGION

Abstract

The article discusses linguistic units related to the conceptual sphere “Nature” (names of weather phenomena, plants, geographical terms), derived from vocabulary with the meaning “Food”. Analysis of the presented materials indicates that in Perm dialects there is a metaphorical nomination of weather phenomena and geographical objects. Most often, metaphorical names arise on the basis of the development of figurative meaning based on form. The names of plants derived from the names of foods and food products are few in number and usually appear if the plants are edible.
