CHINESE POETRY IN RUSSIA: RESEARCH OF CHINESE SCIENTISTS

Abstract

The article discusses the research which was made by Chinese scientists of the works of Russian literary critics on contemporary Chinese literature (poetry) and their assessment of the translation of these works into Russian. The author reveals the main features of Russian sinology and its’ methods, concludes that a systematic study of Russian sinology, including a study of Chinese poetry translations in Russia by Chinese scientists, promotes cultural exchange between countries and ensures the promotion of Chinese culture abroad.
