Abstract

This article is devoted to artistic dialogue of poems (also known as "Norse diptich") by A.N. Maykov with their literature original source - Poetic Edda, anthology of the Old-Icelandic songs about gods and heroes. Furthermore, Poetic Edda is the greatest and the most famous collection of the notions about Norse mythology.
