Abstract

During the first two decades of the XX century Russian literature created a number of works that formed the "Chinese text" and prepared readers and writers for its further development. After the events of the October Revolution interest to the theme of the East, and especially to China, increased in the Russian literature. This process was due to similar social and political events that took place both in Russia and in China, as well as the displacement (emigration) of a large number of Russian people to the territory of China, and the population of China to the territory of Russia.
