Abstract

The article considers a feature of the implementation of the phenomenon of foolish activity in the work of V. Rasputin and Chinese writer Jia Pingwa. From this point of view, the images of Bogodul and Uncle Misha Hampo (V. Rasputin's "Farewell toMatera" and "Fire") and Zhang Insheng (Jia Pingwva's novel "Qin Opera") are analyzed. It is shown that the discoveries of V. Rasputin were specifically refracted in the work of Jia Pingwa, who created in the novel "Qin Opera" the image of the Chinese foolish in accordance with the tradition of the embodiment of the image of the foolish in Russian culture. Like Rasputin heroes, Zhang Insheng is portrayed as the guardian of the memory of the genus, he is tied to the earth and faithful to the traditions of his ancestors.
