The reactions which form the image of creator identified as a result of an associative experiment with the stimulus word 艺术 ‘art’ have been discussed in the article. The informants were the Chinese students. The experiment has demonstrated the representation of art in the Chinese linguistic worldview and also has shown the important role of creator who has certain personal qualities and the important social role of transmitting cultural experience.Downloads
